Current production checkpoint

The first checkpoint covers the ten largest parent cities in the Census Vintage 2025 inventory: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, Phoenix, Philadelphia, San Antonio, San Diego, Dallas, and Fort Worth. New York is marked Live after its proof package passes release checks; the remaining nine are marked In production. A city page becomes live only after its local-business targets, independent concepts, content, rights, disclosures, and technical checks pass.

The Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island remain separate New York City child geographies. They are held for the next review checkpoint and are never used as aliases for New York City as a whole.

What each status means

• In production: evidence collection and the proof package are underway. This does not mean a concept or city page is published.
• Live: the complete city package has passed identity, no-standalone-site, rights, disclosure, content, and technical QA.
• Planned: the geography is in the frozen official inventory but no public proof package exists yet.
• Held for review: the geography remains valid but is outside the current authorized checkpoint.

Method and source

The city boundary uses the latest completed consistent US Census Bureau city and town release available at execution time: Vintage 2025, released May 14, 2026. A large incorporated place has at least 250,000 residents. A medium incorporated place has 50,000 to 249,999 residents. Census-designated places are excluded from the canonical city count. Official child geographies are listed separately when their boundary and local search intent are distinct.
