An integration can report success while the customer record is incomplete, the message went to the wrong destination, or a financial entry never reached the ledger. The executor’s response describes what it attempted. A buyer still needs evidence that the intended business effect exists and that prohibited effects did not occur.
AI4SALE designs and implements an independent checking layer for consequential integrations. We define the acceptance contract, select a separate evidence path, configure stop and escalation behavior, and connect the verdict to operations. The result is a deployable control, not another dashboard that repeats the workflow’s own status.
The checker is designed around the decision it must support
We begin with one concrete decision: may this record move forward, may this external action be treated as complete, or may this release handle live work? That decision determines the evidence, timing, permissions, and failure response. A schema check may be enough for a reversible internal read. A customer-facing or financial write usually needs an authoritative destination read plus business invariants.
Our delivery model separates five responsibilities:
- Effect definition. The business owner states the allowed outcome and the states that must never be created.
- Executor claim. The integration returns a stable operation identity and what it believes happened.
- Independent observation. The checker obtains evidence through credentials and sources that do not depend on the executor’s conclusion.
- Verdict. Explicit rules produce pass, fail, unknown, or escalation with a policy version and evidence reference.
- Operational response. The surrounding flow pauses, continues, queues review, or limits activity according to the verdict.
Independence is scoped rather than absolute. A destination API may still be unavailable, a third party may expose only limited confirmation, and a human reviewer may be required for ambiguous business context. We document those limitations and define what the system does when evidence cannot be obtained. An unknown result does not quietly become a pass.
For the underlying design principles, the scheduled source is Why Every Integration Needs an Independent Checker. The service described here is intentionally separate: AI4SALE can turn those principles into a working acceptance control for a named integration and verify it with seeded failures.
What procurement and engineering need to resolve
Prioritize integrations that change customer access, money, regulated records, external communications, inventory, contractual state, or any other outcome that is costly to reverse.
We run allowed, denied, duplicate, stale, partial, and unavailable-evidence cases, then compare each expected verdict with authoritative downstream state and the recorded response.
We need the business effect, integration interfaces, representative identifiers, test access, destination read options, current failure handling, and owners for policy and exception decisions.
Shared credentials, the same derived data source, rules copied from executor output, missing operation identity, mutable evidence, and automatic repair before review can preserve the original blind spot.
Yes, when it can maintain a separate evidence route, define enforceable acceptance rules, test negative cases, stop unsafe effects, and assign a reviewer independent from the executor release.
